Join us for an outdoor/indoor workshop on seed identification, collection, and sorting

Led by Sue Julian from Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy

 Generously funded by Growing Pontiac

This workshop will begin outside collecting native seeds on the field. There will be a demonstration with tips for identifying various native plants and techniques for efficient seed collection. After collection we will move indoors to the classroom to separate, sort and organize the seeds. You will be provided bags and labels for the seeds. Be prepared to be on your feet and do some light walking.

By registering, you will receive a text and email notification if the event is cancelled or rescheduled. If you need to cancel your registration please email [email protected] or call the office at 248-795-2808. Thank you.

You Are the Key to Our Success

Whether you are a longtime donor or recent contributor, you know that the work we do now will reap sweet rewards later. Land conservancies run on small budgets which makes the work of protecting land more challenging. With help from donors like you, we know that land and water will be protected in Oakland County and surround regions for years to come. Thank you very much.
